SIMON BULB LIMITED WARRANTY
SIMON BULB LIMITED WARRANTY INFORMATION
Thank you for your purchase of Simon Bulb products. Simon Bulb warrants that its LED lighting product that you have purchased (the “Product”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship, and that the lumen maintenance value for the Product shall not fall below 70% of the lumen maintenance value set forth in Simon Bulb specifications for three years from date of shipment, subject to the terms and conditions set forth below (the “Limited Warranty”).
If you believe the Product is defective and wish to make a claim under this Limited Warranty, the Product must be returned to Simon Bulb for inspection by its warranty claims department. Simon Bulb will determine each claim according to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty. Simon Bulb may, in its sole discretion and at its sole cost, replace any returned Product with a similar or comparable product, in which case the returned Product shall become the exclusive Property of Simon Bulb. Simon Bulb may elect to repair a defective Product and return the repaired Product to you at no charge. If Simon Bulb determines no action is appropriate, the Product will be returned to you. Returned or replacement items will be shipped to your return U.S. address, if provided (Simon Bulb will not ship to APO/FPO addresses).
WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS
Simon Bulb, at its sole discretion, will determine the proper handling of all warranty claims. All warranties, express or implied, are void if its warranty claim department determines that damage to the Product was caused wholly or in part by one of more of the following:
- Negligence: improper installation, improper use, etc.
- Abuse: damage beyond the limits of “normal wear and tear”
- Unauthorized repair: repair service performed by an unauthorized service center
- Seal tampering: removal of bezel or bezel screws will compromise the integrity of the water-tight seal
- Violation of any applicable standard or code
- Acts of God or force majeure
Simon Bulb shall not be liable for electrical supply conditions, including supply spikes, over-voltage/under-voltage and ripple current control systems that are beyond the specified limits of the products or the relevant supply standards, codes, or usage instructions or for use in violation of recommendations of Simon Bulb, National Electrical Code, Standards of Safety of Underwriters Laboratory, Inc., Standards for the International Electrotechnical Commission, or Standards for the American National Standards Institute, or for use in excessive temperatures (hot or cold) or humidity.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Upon request, Simon Bulb representatives must be allowed access to any fixture, system or installation in connection with which the Product was used.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, IN CONTRACT, INDEMNITY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM THE FAILURE OF THE PRODUCT AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHICH ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. SIMON BULB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, WHETHER OR NOT SIMON BULB HAS BEEN ADVISED OF SUCH POSSIBILITY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST REVENUE/PROFITS, DAMAGE TO FIXTURES, FITTINGS, OR PROPERTY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, COSTS RELATED TO INSTALLATION, REMOVAL, OR REINSTALLATION, OR RETURN SHIPPING OF THE PRODUCT.
Simon Bulb makes no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, with regard to any product that is not sold under the Simon Bulb brand or one of its sub-brands (“Non-Simon Bulb Products”); provided, however, that Simon Bulb shall, upon purchaser’s request, and where not prohibited by law or applicable contract, make available to the purchaser warranty information in its possession provided by the manufacturer of Non-Simon Bulb Products.
HOW TO MAKE A LIMITED WARRANTY CLAIM
If the Product was purchased from an authorized Simon Bulb reseller, the Product should be returned to the reseller if purchased less than 60 days from the Limited Warranty claim date. For Limited Warranty claims made more than 60 days after Product purchase date, or for Product purchased directly from Simon Bulb, please return the Product, properly packaged, to:

Limited Warranty Claims MUST be accompanied by a copy of your original invoice/proof of purchase, your return address, and an explanation of the problem you are experiencing. Simon Bulb may take up to three (3) months in normal circumstances to process Limited Warranty claims.
